Transfrontiers Game Trail 1

Day 1

Pick up from Johannesburg, Pretoria and Nelspruit during the morning. Transfer by microbus to Transfrontiers' Base Camp outside Kruger National Park. Settle into twin bedded en suite tents followed by lunch. Afternoon orientation walk with experienced guides Return for dinner and overnight.

Transfer through scenic Mpumalanga

Stage duration:1 day

Day 2

Depart with microbus for Kruger Park for half a day of game viewing with breakfast in the Kruger National Park. Depart for satellite Trails Camp located in private area (i.e. Manyeleti, Letaba or Timbavati which are open to K.N.P.) Lunch followed by an afternoon walk in Big 5 country with experienced guide. Dinner and overnight.

Game drive through Kruger Park.

Day 3

Early morning walking trail of app. minus 4 hours. Breakfast, siesta and light lunch Afternoon combination walk and night drive in an open vehicle.

Guided walk with armed ranger in 'Big 5' country.

Stage duration:1 day

Day 4

Follows the pattern of the previous days. However the trails guide might include a game drive with open vehicle. Activities depend on game sightings and density

Night drive in open 4x4 vehicle.

Stage duration:1 day

Day 5

A short morning activity followed by packing up. Breakfast at app. 08:00 a.m. Transfer through the Park to link up with transfers to Johannesburg, Pretoria and Nelspruit.

Last game drive through Kruger National Park.
